Savannah has become well-known for fabulous wedding ceremonies — the glitz, the glitter, the dancing, the celebrating. Really, we agree that you just can’t find a more stunning place to get married than in the beautiful city of Savannah. But, for couples not wanting to go over the top with costs or stress, The Gastonian and The Kehoe House have the perfect solution. Both Inns offer a “Savannah Elopement Package” that provides just the right amount of honor, excitement and enthusiasm to get a married life together started off right.
Couples who dream of a hassle-free, yet romantic celebration call the Inns and book the package, which includes a two-night stay in the Inns best rooms, the ceremony location, the Officiant, cake, champagne and floral arrangements.
There are just a few things they have to do themselves: (1) pick the date, (2) select the cake flavor and icing type, (3) select the color of their bouquet and boutonniere, and (4) get the marriage license and rings. Some Brides arrange to have their hair and makeup done before the ceremony — for this, both Inns have a list of their favorite makeup artists who will come to the Inns, and a few favorite salons off-site that do a great job. There’s also a list of photographers who are experienced with the Inns and are welcome.
An elopement at The Gastonian and The Kehoe House is a private, personal experience for couples. Without the worry and stress of waiting guests or reception concerns, couples are free to concentrate on the one they love and the vows they take. There are tears, kisses, hugs and moments of love that occur so naturally because of the calm and wonderful moment the couple is experiencing.
If a true “just for two” elopment doesn’t match your idea of a dream wedding, both Inns have options for small weddings. The Gastonian offers a package for 14-16 guests and a package for up to 34 guests. The Kehoe House has packages for up to 26 guests for whole-house weddings and a third-floor rental option which accommodates eight guests. Of course, there’s always the option of incuding a room or two of close friends or family so they can attend the more personal elopement ceremonies.
If you’re considering Savannah for your wedding, give The Kehoe House or The Gastonian a call to discuss the details.
