Historic Savannah Inn Undergoes Renovation
The Eliza Thompson House, a 25-room historic inn on Savannah’s popular Jones Street, is welcoming the new year with an exciting new look for its parlor and Main House guest rooms. A major renovation including new paint, furniture, drapes and decor has just been completed, bringing a fresh look and a new level of modern comfort to the inn.
Renovated Guest Rooms
The renovated guest rooms are all located within the inn’s “Main House,” the original structure built as a home for Eliza and Joseph Thompson in 1847. Savannah interior designers Angela Groover and Pam Rody of Interior Merchandising, Inc designed the inn’s new look.
Luxury Main House Guest Rooms
The Luxury Main House Rooms are the inn’s most spacious rooms, and are the accommodations to select if you’re looking for the very best experience at The Eliza Thompson House. These rooms include The Admiral Turner Room, The R. Bruce Room, The J. Stephens Room and The Lindsey Room.
Main House Guest Rooms
Though less spacious than the Luxury rooms, the inn’s three Main House Rooms provide a vibrant and sophisticated over-night stay in Savannah. These rooms boast unique and historic architectural details, such as a brick wall, original fireplace (now decorative), and exposed beams. Located on the second and third floor, these rooms include The Lee Room, The Carter Room and The Johnston Room.
We invite you to be among the first to experience the Eliza Thompson House’s newly renovated guest rooms. Book your reservation online to receive our special offers, or call 1-800-348-9378.
